On top of all those statistics, Swadian Knights take longer to train (correct me if i'm wrong), and their initial price costs more too. So that means we can have a whopping 150 rhodok Sharpshooters/Sergeants vs our opponent's 70 Swadian Knights for the same price.ġ50 Rhodoks cost about 3150 denars weekly.ħ0 Swadian Knights cost exactly the same. This means that for every 7 Swadian Knights, we can have 15 rhodok Sergeants or Sharpshooters, for the same price. This means that A swadian knight is literally worth more than 1 rhodok sharpshooter and 1 rhodok sergeant put together. Let X be the minimum wage, and Y be the Maximum Wage. Swadian Knight costs 31-59 dollars weekly. This set up is more cost effective (especially if you use rhodok sergeants rather than nord huscarls). If the battle map doesn't have a hill, then do the same thing except place the sharpshooters behind a river or a cliff or trees. Plant your Rhodok Sharpshooters so that they are on top of a hill, then plant your Rhodok Sergeants 20 or 30 paces ahead of the sharpshooters, where they'll be placed towards the bottom of the hill. Set up your Rhodoks so that 75% of your army consists of Sharpshooters, and 25% of your army consists of Sergeants. This is the main reason, and 50% alone of what makes the rhodoks so powerful. Reason 3: This is the most substantial reason and the most important reason. It takes only 2 shots to kill a Hired blade with plate armor, thanks to the Sharpshooter's Siege Crossbow and his steel bolts. Their crossbows can also kill any and every single unit in 1-2 shots. Reason 2: They have the best crossbowmen in the game, and I believe this is the strongest unit to have in Singleplayer (when in a right formation and with good infantry), because they are the only ranged units that can penetrate enemy shields. This allows you to implement some creative strategies, such as the pike phalanx. Reason 1: Rhodoks have access to the pike. You can Conquer with Vaegir Archers and Cavalry. You can conquer with massed Khergit Horse Archers. I realize that there are a million ways and a million setups and methods you can use to beat Singleplayer, and for all factions. What are some good strategies to defeat your opponent in battle? That's where I'm getting at. Imagine that you're playing multiplayer Campaign. The point of this discussion is because, well, imagine this.
I'm not trying to compose a closed opinion where I'm implying no other setup will be good enough.
So before I support my claim with evidence, here is a disclaimer.ĭISCLAIMER: I realize that you can conquer Calradia with any set up.
